1. About Us

Colemans Blinds & Shutters Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-registered company providing made-to-measure blinds and shutters supplied and installed at customer properties.

2. Quotations

All quotations provided are:

  • Free of charge

  • Valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated

  • Based on measurements taken at the time of survey

Quotations include supply and installation unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to amend a quotation if incorrect information has been provided or if measurements change.

3. Orders & Payments

An order is confirmed once:

  • The quotation has been accepted in writing (email confirmation is sufficient), and

  • Any agreed deposit has been received.

Because our products are made to measure, full payment terms will be agreed at the point of order confirmation.

4. Made-to-Measure Products

All blinds and shutters are manufactured specifically to your measurements and specifications.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, made-to-measure products are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period once production has begun.

We will always ensure you are satisfied with measurements and specifications before placing the order.

5. Installation

We will:

  • Install products professionally and securely

  • Follow relevant safety regulations (including child safety guidelines)

  • Take reasonable care of your property during installation

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • The installation area is accessible and clear

  • Any fragile or valuable items are removed before installation

6. Lead Times

Estimated lead times will be provided at the time of order.

These are estimates only and may vary due to supplier or manufacturing delays. We will keep you informed of any significant changes.

7. Faults & Issues

If you believe there is an issue with your product or installation, please notify us as soon as possible.

We will:

  • Inspect the issue

  • Agree appropriate remedial action where required

  • Rectify genuine faults within a reasonable timeframe

This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by third-party manufacturers

  • Pre-existing structural issues or hidden defects within walls or window frames

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper maintenance after installation

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any matter which cannot legally be excluded.
